In a metal project called “Adrians Hall”
What do you like to do when you get time away from Dante?
Using my PCs, going out, relaxing…
Are there any other musical projects you are / were involved in?
I was involved in a local musical project, and then there is Adrians Hall, of course.
What are your favourite bands?
There are many of them, depends on mood/season and others. But Dream Theater and Maiden CDs are playing a lot in my car…
What are your main musical influences?
Maiden and Dream Theater
What was the best concert you saw?
Difficult to answer, because I saw a lot of very good shows and they can´t be compared. Last year, it was certainly Queensryche live with OM 1 and 2 in Balingen
Which band / musician have you never seen but really long to do so?
AC DC (yup, shame over me)
Which band would you most like to play / tour with?
I guess it would be a great experience to tour with Dream Theater
Who are your favourite musicians?
Steve Harris, John Myung
Who do you think are the best musicians
on your respective instrument?
Steve Harris and John Myung again. Although there a quite a few others which should be mentioned here…
What are your favourite songs of all time?
There are too many to pick one
What do you think are the best / most important / albums of all time?
Same thing: Too many excellent albums to mention one here

Not like myself
What equipment are you using (live/studio)?
  • Bass:Yamaha John Myung Signature 6-string
  • Amp: Warwick (an old one)

What was the funniest / most embarrassing thing that ever happened while making music?
A very arrogant mixer once put down a whole former band. Luckily, my Warwick Amp has the possibility to switch the graphical EQ pre/post DI with a simple click. Three seconds only bass in the whole venue… The man had quite problems to get that fixed.
